What NAD+ is
NAD+ stands for nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide. It is a coenzyme found in the body's cells and participates in energy metabolism and other cellular processes.
The compounded version is prepared by a licensed compounding pharmacy for an identified patient after a prescription is written. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved.
