01

What Sermorelin is

Sermorelin is a synthetic peptide that acts on growth-hormone-releasing hormone receptors. It is different from directly administering growth hormone.

The compounded version is prepared by a licensed compounding pharmacy for an identified patient after a prescription is written. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved.

Whether this treatment is appropriate for you, and how it fits alongside your health history and other medications, is a decision for your treating licensed provider.

02

How it generally works

Sermorelin acts on receptors in the pituitary gland involved in the body's release of growth hormone. How someone responds depends on their individual health and physiology.

Your provider determines administration, monitoring and the treatment schedule. Follow the instructions supplied by your clinician and dispensing pharmacy.

Benefits are not guaranteed. This treatment should not be understood as a proven way to reverse aging or achieve a particular change in energy, sleep or body composition.

03

Safety & tolerability

Sermorelin is not appropriate for everyone. Side effects may include injection-site reactions, headache or flushing. Your provider considers your medical history and current medications and discusses potential risks before prescribing.

Tell your provider about anything you experience during treatment, and seek medical attention for symptoms that concern you. Dosing and any changes to your plan are determined by your provider. All medical care is overseen by Elite Care Health.
